On Oct. 16th our Parents Association and the JT Hood 1st graders welcomed

Keith Johnson and the WILD ABOUT WEATHER Program

Weather is exciting stuff and no wonder—we live on a planet where air is heavy, water is sticky and lightning strikes 100 times a second.  Add it all up and we arrive at an understanding that the atmosphere around us is much more dynamic than it looks!
Supporting and enriching the National Science Standards, WILD ABOUT WEATHER takes a creative and quirky look at clouds, air pressure, the water cycle, weather instruments and forecasts.
Like Ben Franklin said, "Some people are weather wise & some people are otherwise."
